The Social Web is gaining momentum

Facebook has held their f8 developer conference this week and has announced a few interesting new features that are impacting the social web in interesting ways.

We’ve been following the news and are excited about what is happening. A lot of the announced features are really about creating a more social web, not just a social network of people. Now, the web’s biggest assets, the content of each and every website can easily find its way into the social graph.

That’s what we’re excited about at Slense. The better content is connected to the social graph, the better we can personalize your search experience based on what you and your network have liked, bookmarked, visited and perceived as valuable.

Integration of facebook and the OpenGraph API will be a major point in our next milestone release. It will make Slense a more useful tool for even more people on the web.
